LEED POINTS
Our first use of recycled material was with the famous toy store F.A.O. Schwarz in New York. Broken buttons from the New York Garment District were RECYCLED into the tile. In the movie “BIG,” a young dancing Tom Hanks plays “Chop Sticks” on a giant piano keyboard. Our Terrazzio floor, with the broken buttons, is the floor below that piano. Today, 20% of Terrazzio is composed of recycled content which is eligible for 2 LEED Points for your project. Terrazzio is manufactured in Tennessee. If you are within 500 miles of us, your project may qualify for additional LEED points.
